Pastor Jeff Ridenour
From the pastor’s desk…
Yes, it’s a corny, old fashioned sign idea.Seriously, though, I take this time of year as an opportunity. Lent has traditionally been a time for people that have not been at church recently or for a length of time to return to worship.
In this way the whole congregation is reminded of the mercy and forgiveness proclaimed in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the need we all have to renew our faith.
Maybe something someone said offended you. Maybe you don’t know why you quit coming. Maybe your coming may help someone’s faith journey grow and they’ll say, “I really missed you, but didn’t know what to say.”
This is NOT an attempt for anything other than to say, “God loves you and your church family needs you.”
No matter the reason or for how long it may have been, I want you to know you can contact me anytime if I can help in this process.
God loves you where you are and won’t leave you there. We would love to have you back and restored to participation in the life of the Church.
